On September 30th of this year, the United States, Mexico, and Canada announced the completion of negotiations toward a new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) to replace the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Bruce Heyman was confirmed as President Obama’s personal representative to Canada on March 12, 2014. He is a 33 year veteran of Goldman Sachs, where he served as the managing director of the Private Wealth Management Group from 1999 until December of 2013. He serves as a Special Adviser to Canada 2020.
