2022 Global Progress Summit

This is a pivotal moment for the global progressive movement – as we work together to strengthen democracy against rising authoritarianism, ensure shared prosperity over deepening inequality, accelerate action to address the global climate emergency, and rise to so many other shared challenges.
This September 16-17, join hundreds of progressives from across more than 20 countries in Toronto, Canada – including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and other global leaders – to discuss the latest ideas and directions in progressive governance and our work together to deliver real change.
For over a decade, the Global Progress initiative has brought together current and future leaders to discuss how progressives can overcome obstacles and foster a resilient and growing global progressive movement. Hosted by Canada 2020, the 2022 Global Progress Summit is an annual gathering of progressive leadership within governments, think-tanks, campaigns, and civil society organizations from around the world to focus on solutions to today’s most pressing shared public policy challenges.
