The 2020 Network presented by Interac will produce multiple shows a week dedicated to Canadian politics, policy and big ideas. Each week, the 2020 Network will host multiple shows, with multiple hosts, on the same channel.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Finance Minister Bill Morneau stated, "Job 1 on the center of my desk for the next six months is going to be about competitiveness in Canada... we have to do our homework to get to a conclusion."

Advisory: James Comey to speak at Canada 2020

Former FBI Director James Comey will speak at Canada 2020, Canada’s leading progressive think-tank, on June 5th in Ottawa. Mr. Comey will be one of the keynote speakers at this year’s 5th Annual Canada 2020 Conference, an annual gathering of Canada’s progressive policy community. Speakers in the past have included Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Sir Richard Branson, and former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Canada 2020 Policy Lab: The National Pharmacare Initiative

On May 29th, Canada 2020 is convening a full-day session on National Pharmacare, in response to the government’s Budget 2018 commitment to create an Advisory Council on the Implementation of National Pharmacare. In the Budget, the government cites the high costs of drugs and the statistic that one in ten Canadians cannot afford the prescription drugs they need as reasons why a National Pharmacare plan is needed.
